Events & Visitors Bureau (EVB)

The South Metro Denver Events & Visitors Bureau is a separately funded program of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. It promotes economic development through a collective effort from businesses including hotels, restaurants, retail, parks and recreation, entertainment, and attractions. The Events & Visitors Bureau is comprised of enthusiastic volunteers and advisory board members that meet once a month. The Events & Visitors Bureau aims to expand and promote tourism and leisure tourism in the Denver Metro area.

The EVB recently begain their Best Trails Campaign which encourages tourists as well as local residents to explore the local entertainment, restaurant and shopping attractions. This is not your ordinary trail, rather carefully planned itineraries made to explore South and Metro Denver attractions, recreation, entertainment and sporting & golf venues and much more. For businesses, the South Metro Denver Events & Visitors Bureau is here to help arrange and organize all your business needs from accommodations to catering to business events space and/or activities. We are your one stop shop for Requests for Services and visitor’s center information. Our knowledgeable and helpful staff will assist you in developing, implementing, and finalizing your unique business needs.

The Events & Visitors Bureau provides numerous benefits throughout the year. There are three different membership tiers: Meeting and Events Services, Events and Visitors Board, and Marketing and Visibility Package. Each package varies greatly in benefit levels. Below is an itemized list of some benefits provided by joining the Events & Visitors Bureau:

• Requests for Services (RFS) allows potential clients to receive bids for your event services
• Your business listing on the Chamber web site and/or Chamber Magazine
• Networking opportunities through Unplugged and Business After Hours
• Membership discounts for Events and Services savings start at $150.
• Space at the annual Get Wild on Littleton Block Party
• Corporate meeting opportunities
• Displays of business material & logo at Chamber events and on brochures
• Opportunity to host Economic Development Group Mixers
• Listing on Community/Visitor Relocation map when applicable
• Representation at the Chamber Welcome Center

We recently launched the South Metro Denver Chamber visitor and relocation guide map highlighting our EVB members. Our monthly business magazine updates the community on local business development and growth and also advertises various EVB members. The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce supports over 1600 businesses, the third largest chamber in Colorado, providing many avenues for businesses and groups to explore and create new business opportunities.
